Advent - what does it mean? The word means 'coming' from the Latin word 'adventus'. It is used in the Christian church for the season of the coming, or birth of Jesus of Nazareth. This is when we really get excited about Christmas. The Nativity story tells of how He came to be born in Nazareth and what happened on the day He was born.
This is what Christmas is really about, and it's certainly a time for celebrations. Watch for the story throughout December on the blog, if you've never heard or read it before.

- Sun 7th 2.15-3.45pm All Stars Christmas Party in Church
