The weather has been beautiful the past few days, and the snowdrops are out. Our churchyard has had a rough time during reordering, but the grass is growing back and it has had some TLC already. More is to come when the volunteer churchyard teams start work again next month. Come along and join them for some fresh air, exercise and good company!Revd Mary Essex had a wonderful send off at the Songs of Praise Service yesterday, and the church was full of friends and colleagues from the Benefice and members of Churches Together. The Faith Tea was truly something to talk about too.
Talking of food, Wednesday 12th March 12noon - 2.00pm there is home made soup and cake for lunch at 16 De Ferrers Close with a plate for donations for Christian Aid. Everyone is welcome.
15th March at 7.30pm at the Royal Concert Hall the Harmonic Choir is performing Bach's St John passion. This is a wonderful way to prepare for Easter. Please contact Judith if you are interested.
