Spring forward!

Sunday, March 24th was Palm Sunday but the weather continued to be windy, cold and snowy, but unfortunately the donkey from Manor Farm was unable to come to Costock to take part in the procession and service to celebrate Jesus entering Jerusalem in triumph.



We hope the families weren't too disappointed.  Last year was certainly very different - see left!

Don't forget! to move your clocks one hour forward (Spring Forward) this weekend to Daylight Savings Time or you'll arrive at the Easter Services at the wrong time!

Easter Holiday Club!

SPACE ACADEMY!

St Mary's will be holding its annual Holiday Club at the church and Hall from Monday 8th - Wednesday 10th April, 9.15am - 12.00noon for all ages up to 11yrs.

Registration forms can be obtained from Compass magazine or from the back of church or you can download one from our website.

Do you like music?

On Saturday, 16th March, 7pm Charnwood Symphonic Wind Orchestra will be giving a concert at St Mary's Church to help raise funds for our Guides in East Leake. They are planning to travel to Switzerland to one of the Guide Headquarters in the summer.

East Leake Community Choir is holding a Workshop with Professional coaching on Saturday, 27th April from 10am - £4.
There will be a Free Choir Open Day from 12.30pm followed by an evening concert - see below.

Spring Concert, 7.00pm at St Mary's, £4 - featuring Professional Soprano Charlotte, East Leake Community Choir and Piano and Organ works.
